GENERAL RULES

1. NEW VISION EYE CENTRE is a Single specialty hospital registered from health department of U.P. Government.

2. The schedule will apply to all patients including those belonging to the Institutions, which have NEW VISION EYE CENTRE on their panel for treatment of their employees and members of their families.

3. For in-patients, the charges are determined with reference to the type of Surgery charge by the patient as mentioned.

(a) For discharges the patients will be charged for accommodation charges for the day of discharge. However, he/she can occupy the bed till day care of the subsequent day.

(b) DISCHARGE PLANNING INVOLVES SEVERAL ACTIVITIES: 1. Development of a care plan for post discharge care (Medical). 2. Arranging for the provision of services, including patient/family education and referrals (Medical, Nursing). 3. The Nurse in charge, the Duty Medical Officers are responsible for coordinating the discharge with other team members. 4. Medication to continue and follow up visit details to be included with date specified. 5. For regular visit patients, the medical record needs to be arranged.

 Time taken for cash patients is 2-3 hrs

 Time taken for insurance patients 3-4 hrs

Services will be provided to below poverty line population.

O.P.D and Surgical services will be provided on all week days except Sundays, between 9 :30 AM to 6 PM.

OPD rooms will be planned for this set up out of which 2 consulting rooms will be with slit lamp and 1 room will be for optometrist with standard auto refractor.

Day care unit will be equipped with 4 beds. Patients requiring surgery will be admitted, prepared and discharged from this unit. Also, emergency care if any, required by the O.P.D patient can also be provided in this unit.
